Fee Structure (as of January 1, 2009)
***Calgary Carshare is a volunteer run non-profit co-operative and fees are based on cost-recovery***
1. Monthly Fee
All drivers will be charged a $5.00/mo fee. This fee helps offset the costs for on-going maintenance of the Calgary Carshare fleet, 24hr roadside assistance etc.
2. Vehicle Rental Rates
Rental rates are charged by a combined hourly rate and per km rate.
Hourly Rate
When you book a Calgary Carshare car, you will be charged for the hours you have it booked (don't worry - our reservation system will calculate the expected cost of your booking for you!). The hourly rate depends on the time of day you book it:

KM Rate
In addition, you'll pay a fee for each km driven. The fee is to help offset the cost of gas and maintenance due to the mileage on the vehicle.

3. Other Charges
In order to ensure responsible usage by our members, Calgary Carshare will also apply other charges including but not limited to:
- returning the vehicle late
- taking the wrong vehicle
- tickets issued to Calgary Carshare for the vehicle during your reservation (i.e. photo radar tickets, parking tickets, etc)
- leaving the vehicle in an unacceptable condition
